What does the score mean?
Google PageSpeed Insights scores a page from 0 to 100 based on how fast it loads and responds on a typical phone and network. 0–49 means visitors are leaving before the page loads. 50–89 means the site works but speed is costing conversions. 90–100 means the site is engineered right.
Is the health check really free?
Yes. The speed test is Google's own free tool and runs in your browser. If you send us your score, a real engineer reviews your site and replies with your three most impactful fixes — also free, with no obligation and no mailing list.
What do you check that the Google score doesn't?
The score measures speed. Our engineer review also looks at security headers, whether Google can properly find and index your pages, and structured data (schema) — the things that quietly cost rankings and trust even on a fast site.
Do you see my test results?
No. The test opens on Google's site and runs in your browser — we never see your score unless you choose to send it to us.
Do I need Google Search Console?
Yes — it's Google's free dashboard showing how your site performs in search, and it requires proving you own the site, which is why we can't run it for you here. Many small-business sites were never registered at all. Registering it (and reading it) is one of the things we handle in every build.
My score is low. How bad is it?
A low score is common and usually fixable — most small-business sites score under 50 on mobile. It typically comes from a handful of issues like oversized images, render-blocking scripts, or slow hosting, and the biggest wins often take days, not months.
