# A website for six clinics: Quantum Prosthetics & Orthotics

Six orthotics and prosthetics clinics in three states (Illinois, Indiana, Nevada), brought together under **one fast website built around the patient**. We designed and built it, and we manage it for the client.

These numbers come from Google. Speed: Chrome UX Report (CrUX) via PageSpeed Insights — 75th percentile, mobile, real Chrome users, all pages on quantumpo.com, Sep 4 – Oct 1, 2026. Largest Contentful Paint and Interaction to Next Paint are not shown: Google does not yet have enough real-user data for this origin, and we don’t substitute lab numbers for field ones. ## The problem

Quantum delivers some of the most advanced prosthetic and orthotic care available. That includes microprocessor knees and ankles as well as bionic hands and arms. It also covers custom sockets and neuro-orthotic bracing. The website had to earn the same trust on first contact.

Two problems sat on top of each other. **Six clinics across three states needed to read as one confident brand**. Six scattered listings would only compete with each other. And the first visitor is often an amputee or a stroke survivor. Sometimes it's a parent whose child needs a device. That person needed to **find their footing in seconds** without wading through a brochure. The site had to feel like the beginning of care.

## What we built

### Persona-first entry

Visitors pick what fits them (lower-limb, upper-limb, post-stroke weakness, or a child who needs a device) and land on the right page. Nobody has to hunt through a services menu.

### The patient journey

A plain-language walk-through from the first conversation to fitting and then daily life. Patients know what's ahead before they pick up the phone.

### Advanced devices, explained

Bionic hands and arms sit alongside microprocessor knees and ankles. Expedited adjustable sockets are covered with C-Brace and MyoPro bracing. Each one is explained in plain language.

### A page for every clinic

Each of the six clinics has its own page with its address, its clinicians and the towns it serves. All six still roll up to one brand.

### Patient guides

Plain-language guides on subjects such as partial-foot prosthetics and the path from amputation to walking. Most name the clinician who wrote or reviewed them.

### One low-friction first step

Clear insurance information and one short consultation request. It asks for contact details only.

## Who owns what

Quantum’s clinical lead
The facts about each clinic: address, hours, clinicians and accreditation. The site describes them and does not decide them.

The clinic registry
One file listing the six clinics. A release check compares the structured data on every location page against it.

Each location page
One physical clinic, with its own address and its own structured data linked to the parent organization.

Accreditation
Stated on the page of the clinic it applies to. It is not repeated as a claim about the whole group.

The consultation form
Name, phone, an optional email, a topic and a preferred clinic. Nothing clinical.

## What we deliberately didn’t do

- We built no pages for towns that have no clinic. Nearby towns are named only inside the page of the clinic that serves them.

- The public form asks no medical questions. Above the button it says: “Please don’t share medical details here — we’ll go over everything privately when we speak.” A release check fails if a field outside the approved list appears.

- The patient site carries no analytics or tracking scripts.

- There is no page builder underneath. The site moved off Wix to plain static pages that any web host can serve.

## Search evidence

Two kinds of page were built: one for each real clinic, and plain-language guides for patients. Search Console subsequently showed both kinds earning clicks.

First-party figures from a Search Console export downloaded October 1, 2026. They are not estimates from an SEO tool. The 97 days are all the data Search Console holds for this property.

## Limits

- Search Console shows what these pages earned. It cannot show that the site structure is the reason.

- Average position covers every query a page appeared for, brand searches included.

- The window is 97 days. We have no like-for-like figures for the old site, so there is no before and after.

- Google has too little real-user data for this site to report Largest Contentful Paint or Interaction to Next Paint.

## How we worked

Security & speed
Hardened headers and HTTPS everywhere, plus lean pages from day one. A first-time visitor on an older device or a slow connection still has to get in instantly.

Accessibility
A site built for people with limb difference and mobility challenges has to be usable *by* them. We treated that as a design constraint from the start.

Managed
At launch you can take the code, accounts and domain outright, or we run it for you on a monthly retainer. Quantum chose the retainer; we host and release it. Every release goes through a gate of automated checks before it publishes.
